When I attempt to send a fax from a client PC through the
Microsoft Shared Fax Service I receive the following error
in the Application Event Viewer Section
Event ID : 32079
"An error was encountered while preparing to send the fax.
The service will not attempt to resend the fax. Please
close other applications before resending."
If I look in the shared fax outbox, the status of the fax
I tried to send shows 'Retries exceeded'
I have reset the number of retries on the server to the
maximum and stopped and restarted bot the Fax server, and
restarted the server a number of times but still cannot
send faxes.
Any help appreciated.
