Hi,

I am (still) trying to get a router-to-router VPN between two Windows
2003 Servers running RRAS. I am using PPTP and this is the error message
that I get:
"An error occured during connection of the interface. Access was denied
because the username and/or password was invalid on the domain". The
users are created in the domain, so I do not understand why I get this
message. The event id is 20111. Anyone who knows what is wrong?

Does the user have dial-in permission? Are you specifying computername or
domain name for the Domain field? If you r VPN Server is not a DC, you might
have to create a group add the domain user and create a remote access policy
to provide access for the domain user to dial in.

Hi Lill,

When you are using Route to router VPN, you will need to specify user
credentials in the wizard itself. Please check if your connectoid name is
the same as the user name. For more details, refer to:
