Event ID 1802

For the last week or so I am having start-up problems - very slow. In the
event log since the 29 September there is always this entry when starting up:

Event Source: SecurityCenter
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1802
Date: 29/09/2006
Time: 6:46:57 AM
User: N/A
Computer: DESKTOP
Description:
The Windows Security Center Service was unable to establish event queries
with WMI to monitor third party AntiVirus and Firewall.

I have Norton 2006 installed and a DI624 wireless router as well as XP2.
When I run wscui.cpl I get the security centre displayed with the following
settings:

Firewall: Off
Automatic Updates: On
Anti Virus: Not monitored

Can any one help?
