event id 1655 occur

Dear sirs,


i have found that event id 1655 occured many times.
it say that problem with globle catalog. and i search on
microsoft site and i found i have to install service pack
4 but it didn't work. plz help me. you can mail me on my
mail id.

I would also verify that your dns configuration for the domain is correct in that the
domain controller points to itself or another domain controller as it's preferred dns
server in tcp/ip properties as shown by ipconfig /all. I would also run the support
tools netdiag first and then dcdiag on your domain controllers looking for failed
tests that may help you fix the problem. --- Steve
