Event ID 11 - NTP Server

I receive the event error ID 11 that says my computer
cannot synchronize time with NTP server.

The message:

The NTP server \\server.mydomain.com did not answer...

It could be possible that come from wrong setting on my
Windows 2000 server ? If you have an idea how to verify my
setting and how to test the time server response please
send ma a message.

On the server, make sure the Windows Time service is running. On the
workstation (assuming it's Windows 2000) try typing: w32tm -once at a
commmand prompt. It'll show you exactly what is happening.
