Event ID: 10006

Hi,
I've got a customer who's event log (system) keeps pounding out Event ID
errors (10006)
The error says:-
DCOM got an error "Class not registered" from computer COMPUTERNAME when
attempting to activate the server:
{5A5AAOAA-1DEB-4683-96BO-B43301E839713}

They are getting about 2/3 of these errors per minute.

Anyone got any ideas how to stop them or where to look, I've searched the
Knowledge Base at microsoft.com but all they seem to relate to is Microsoft
Operations Manager and I'm pretty sure that the customer doesn't have this
installed.

They are using SBS2000 SP4.

Any/All help appreciated.
TIA
Mark

Hi,
Just thought I'd update this call with the solution - I eventually found
EventID.net web-site and read all related articles on this error. The
specific error pointed to a printer that had been removed from the network,
but not deleted from the server.
So I deleted the printer and 'hey ho' no more errors.
Just thought I'd update in case someone else runs into a similar problem.
regards
Mark
