Event Default re Crashing

Word 2002 has been crashing on me. the event Viewer properties description
says:

"Faulting application winword.exe version 10.0.6612.0 faulting module
winword.exe version 10.0.6612.0 fault address 0x00494eff"

How can I fix this?
