Euro symbol

I am nog able to find the euro symbol in Windows Mail. In Office (and
Outlook) it is working with ctrl + alt + 5 but not in Windows Mail.
Neither I am able to type 'e' with `' or accent circonflexe which also works
in Office (and Outlook) with ctrl + `'.

How can I do this?

Hold down the Alt key while typing 0128 on the number pad. €
