Euro Symbol

I keep getting the Euro symbol in word each time I press the right or down
arrow key. It doesn't happen in anything other than word. All the office
apps seem fine, even wordpad seems ok. Does anybody know where to look to
stop this happening as it's driving me mad.

Which version of Word? Obviously that command is loading in your Word
installation but without knowing which version, we can't tell you where to
look.
