EULA popups

OS XP Prof with MS Office XP Small Business.

When i open outlook the EULA pops, click ok, another EULA
pops up, click ok and MS Word "trys" to start but freezes
with a black screen.

Things were okay until i installed the office updates.
The last part of the updates (individual updates for each
application) failed to install corretly but on the second
try it said it installed succesfully.

I tried to repair with the CD and then tried to uninstall
and reinstall and reinstall the updates all to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No need for anyone to reply. Found several generic MS
application icons in the quick launch tray and and when I
deleted one it seemed to clear up the EULA pop up problem
plus all the MS icons went away. Strange.
