EULA acceptance

On a newly purchased PC with Windows XP, each one of the
Office applications requires acceptance of the EULA each
and every time it is opened. Once accepted the
application operates normally. I suspect the product
activation was not properly completed. Is there a
reasonable solution? When the Product activation option
is attempted, the response is that the product is already
activated.

Just out of curiosity. If the EULA could be changed to something else
BEFORE installation of the program, when the user installs the
software then that user will need to accept the EULA before
installing. So, the user will be accepting the altered EULA and not
the original EULA.

Interesting... I wonder how that stands in law....
