Eudora to Outlook import errors

I have just moved to Exchange server and Outlook XP (SP2).
I was using Eudora 4.3 and Outlook refuses to import my
Eudora mailboxes (which I have now put on my local hard
drive) saying that 'The mail folder could not be opened.
If another application is using this file, please close it
and try again'. However Eudora is closed and nothing else
should be using it.

Any suggestions on why this is happening and what I might
do about it?

Did you ever get this resolved? I have the EXACT SAME
problem - and the exact same message.

You need to make sure that the right program is the default mail
application - and I can't remember which way round it is!
