Import of mail from Eudora Pro 6.x to Outlook 2003 - any solution?

I'm trying to import mail from Eudora v.6.2.3.0, but receive from Outlook
following error message:

"The mail folder could not be opened. If another application is using this
file, please close it and try again"

But Eudora is closed, and no application can use its mail folders.

Is it just Outlook import filter problem?

Are there any solution to import Eudora mail to Outlook 2003?

You could try importing from Eudora into Outlook Express and then exporting
from Outlook Express into Outlook but be advised that any messages
containing HTML content will probably be copied incorrectly due to Eudora's
HTML shortfalls.
