ESMTP Lets anyone authenicate

My ESMTP server is letting anyone and thier dog authenicate. I am on
service pack 4 and I thought this was fixed back in SP 3. Anyone have any
ideas??

According to your post, you encounter the authentication problem in ESMTP
Server.

If I have misunderstood your concern please don't hesitate to let me know.

1. Could you please describe how the authentication problem is found? If it
did not occur right after you began to use the server, did you remove or
install any program/service right before the problem's first occurrence?

Any detailed problem description is appreciated.

2. To determine the cause, please enable the smtp.log file using steps
listed in the following article:
