Errors when opening a converted Database

I don't know if anyone has had problems with converting databases from 2000
to 97 format.

I've converted the file (I'm using Access 2003) and sent it to a colleague
who only has Access 97. Now it opens up on my machine (with the option to
convert or open as it's a 97 DB), but on my colleague's machine, she just
gets this error:

AppName: msaccess.exe AppVer: 8.0.0.3512 ModName: msaccess.exe

ModVer: 8.0.0.3512 Offset: 000099cd

Can anyone tell me whether this is the conversion gone wrong or the 97
application not working correctly? She is able to open other databases
without a problem.

Thanks

I have worked with Access for several years however I am not sure that you
can convert a 2000db to a earlier version. I do know that if the db were
built in 97 then you can normally use it without converting it in a 2000
version but not the other way around.....

Nope you definitely can convert - Tools, Database Utilities, Convert
Database... To Access 97 File Format...

It has worked previously, but I'm not sure why it's not working now.
