Errors on startup - need help

C

Christine

I'm getting two separate pop-ups when I start windows and don't know how to
fix either. Please help me in simple terms because although I understand how
to use my computer, I'm not a techie and need clear instructions! Thanks

My first error says: "Unable to access configuration for Microsoft Personal
Web Server"

The second error is a Rundll window that says "Error loading
c:\programfiles\wildtangent\apps\cda\cdaengine0400.dll" The specified module
could not be found.

If I just close the windows, my system functions fine, so they seem to be
more of an annoyance than an issue, but I'd really love to get rid of them.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me eliminate these erros. Thanks

Chris

Go to Start/Run, and type MSCONFIG then look at the STARTUP TAB, to uncheck
unwanted, checked items

If Add/Remove lists Personal Web Server, remove it. XP can't run that.

"Unable to access configuration for Microsoft Personal Web Server"

I had a similar error while installing Microsoft Office 2000 on Windows XP
Prof.
I had to do reinstallation because, my I had problem using Microsoft Word.
Everytime it was opening in FullScreen Mode by default not showing the File
Menu and other TaskBar options. I tried accessing File Menu options with
shortcut keys but was not successful. I dont have any external WebServer in
my AddRemove List.

I have reinstalled Office twice but nothing seems tobe working..
Any Ideas, Solutions...

Thanks in advance.
