Errors installing Win XP Home

I have been trying to install windows xp home on my
computer. When it is copying the files to my hard drive
it comes up with a message saying file is corrupt. But
when i try again it will go past that file and say a
different file is corrupt.

Is this a problem with my Windows XP disc or a hardware
problem?

How are you trying to install XP Home - upgrade or new install? Which file(s) are being reported as corrupt?
 
I'm installing from boot.

It reports a different file every time i try
