Errors during archive

I've been using the (manual) archive facility in Outlook
for a while and often receive errors of the form :
"Error while archiving <folder name> in store "<store
name>". A folder by that name already exists". My mailbox
is on an Exchange server and my archive .PST in a folder
on my workstation.

I don't know what the problem is - the archive process re-
creates the folder structure in the target folder so there
should be a folder of that name. Does anyone have any
ideas ? Google gave me no joy, nor did a search of the MS
web sites.

Create a new archive1.pst file. Point your archive to that file.
