I have problem opening the database that i have created few months ago
(which functioned very well until two days ago) and i cannot retreive data
from it, only messages database displays is as below:

The microsoft jet database engine stopped the process because you and
another user are attending to change the same data at the same time.

I tryed to open it on read only mode and excluseivly mode but same message
keeps apearing. Can anyone help me retreive my database or at least tables
contents.

For more information on corruption including possible causes,
determining the offending PC, retrieving your data, links, official MS
KB articles and a list of vendors who state they can fix corruption
see the Microsoft Access Corruption FAQ at

So there is no other way retreiving data from tables without purchasing
other software.

No, there are a number of methods documented on that website which
might work. However if those don't work, and your backup is clearly
not working, then you may want to use some Access repair company's
services.

I'd be quite leary of using software. I haven't read very many good
comments on it.
