Hi I wonder if anyone can help I keep getting this error message! is it
something I need to do on my laptop or is the fault with live mail if anyone
could help I would be most grateful

Try this: delete that account, restart Windows Live Mail, then re-create
your Hotmail account. Sometimes accounts get corrupted.
