Try to boot to safe mode and do the following;
If this is not found, this solution may not solve your problem. If it is
found,
enable normal boot, go into safe mode, and back up the RUN key in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion and remove the
listing
called RUNDLL32.EXE that contains a value for MSIEFR40.DLL. Then rename the
MSIEFR40.DLL file in the <%windows root%\System32\ to MSIEFR40.OLD. Restart
the
computer. Go into MSCONFIG to confirm the MSIEFR40 listings are removed and
Internet Explorer should no longer crash.
If that doesn't work download adware or spybot and do a full scan and see if
that gets it.
