Error: "You do not have the necessary permissions to use the X obj

When opening a given database, a client keeps getting the Error: "You do not
have the necessary permissions to use the X object".

He recently upgraded to office 2003 from 2000. he also recently got one of
the office security patches. He was able to get into the database last week,
but now cannot. I believ the security patch was the turning point. I have
tried creating a shortcut with the path to access, the path to the file and
the path to the workgroup, as suggested by Joan Wild here

but it is not working.

Any other suggestions?

Post the *exact* syntax you are using for the shortcut.
Every letter, punctuation, space, etc.

Also, I wonder if the macro security setting may be interferring.
