All of a sudden i can't use certain websites in ie 7 because the websited
requires ie 6 or above but the website in question says that i have ie 5.
I've uninstalled 7 and back to ie 6 but still the same problem. Now i've
reinstalled ie7 and still the website says that i have ie 5 installed and
that i have to upgrade to ie 6 or above. It's nickjr.com and i just don't
know what else to do. please help me and my daughter.
thanks

Hi Renan,

These sites are not IE7 Ready yet and they have to make changes to their web
site to accept IE7.

To properly remove IE7 and convert back to IE6, use
Start>Settings>Add/Remove Programs

or search for intructions to uninstall IE7 manually (available in the IE7
release notes). It sounds like you did not use the recommended methods to
uninstall IE7 and revert back to v6.

Regards.

The designer(s) of nickjr.com have shot themselves in the head. The greatest
sin of all is to "require" the use a particular browser or version thereof.
I sympathize with you about your dilemma. I recommend you not visit sites
that display such intolerance to any browser or version of same. I also
recommend you pay very careful attention to any marketing that websites may
direct at young visitors. I'd say it's time to find some new sites to visit.
Good Luck
