error \winnt\system32\dllcache\tftp.exe

M

Michele

I've been trying for some time to upgrade to
SP4...However, when starting to install SP4, I receive a
message stating that \winnt\system32\dllcache\tftp.exe is
open. To close all applications and then try again. None
of my other applications are open!!

What can I do?

Hi,

Can you check whether the Administrator account has got Full control
permission on the WINNT folder?
If the permissions is set to read only, please give the admin account Full
control permissions.
You can also try re-booting the system and trying to install from safe mode
if the 1st solution doesnt work.
