You might have installed a shell extension (or a virus) that is not
compatible with the Windows Vista Explorer.
I don't know what tools are available to see all the extensions, but you can
remove them with Regedit.
The shell extensions for the desktop are located in
HKCR\Directory\Background\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\
If you think you see the extension that causes this, delete it.
error: windows explorer has stopped working, when right-click on
desktop
Any ideas on how to stop this. It happens everytime.
