Windows XP " error while opening key "

Hi

when i tried to open a registry for a specific application , i got this message "Error while opening Key" , there is a solution i have tried but this one does not succeed , which is giving permissions to the folder of the application in the registry editor, but the error still exist ,

can anyone help me with the available solutions.
