Error when uploading/publishing web page to server in Front page

I have been successfully publishing my webpage through Front Page for over a
year but amending my page today I have encountered an error message that
simply says :
500 Illegal port command
500 LPRT not understood.

Can someone please help me with this error, what is it what does it mean and
how can I overcome it?

Check with your host. 500 errors "usually" indicate a permissions issue on the server.
