Error when trying to copy worksheet within workbook

I keep receiving a prompt when trying to copy a worksheet within a
workbook....goes along the lines of

A formula or sheet you want to move or copy contains the name "...." which
already exists on the destination worksheet. Do you want to use this version
of the name?

Select Yes and it goes through a list of nameswhich could be upto 50 or so.

Any ideas?

DO you know what is meant by a named cell? Cell A1 can be given a name such
as Rate. Now suppose a cell on Sheet1 is named Rate and a cell on Sheet2 is
named Rate. Want happens when you copy from Sheet1 to Sheet2? Excel need to
know if the references to Rate are to be those from Sheet or Sheet2.

Excel doesn't want to assume you want to use the existing name or the new name
so it's offering you the choice.

If you're not sure where the names came from, they could have been done by the
original developer or they could have been done by excel its ownself.

But before you make a decision, you may want to research what names you've got.

You may want to get Jan Karel Pieterse's (with Charles Williams and Matthew
Henson) Name Manager:

Then you can decide what you want to do.
