Error when saving or publishing

Whenever I try to save or publish my website it says,

Server '''' Timed Out


And doesn't let me save or publish it.

Please Help.
 
Save where?
- an online site open in FP?
- a local disc based or server based site?

Do you have any firewalls installed?
Do you have any programs hogging port 80 (yahoo messenger?)
