Error when removing a mirror

Bob Clarke

I have two scsi drives with two volumes (c and d) mirrored. One drive
failed. I removed the mirror from the c volume fine and re-created it on the
new drive but when I tried to remove the mirror from the d drive I get the
error:

In the header: "Logical Disk Manager"
Error: The requested object is in active use, operation not allowed

I rebooted into safe mode and got the same error. The drive is no longer in
the system and I can't re-create the mirror on the good drive until I remove
it from the old "missing" one. I have google searched and searched the
knoledge base to no avail.

Thanks,

Does this behavior change if you first remove the drive letter D: (Change
Drive Letter and Paths...)? This would ensure that the volume isn't in use.

Best regards
