error when recovering name of attachments

hello, they taste when trying to recover the name of a mail from an
application VB, the attachaments name is of long 8 characters, being that the
name is a lot but I release, like it is possible to recover the complete
name. Thank you.

aplicacion VB, el nombre del adjunto es de largo 8 caracteres, siendo que el
nombre es mucho mas largo, como es posible recuperar el nombre completo.

Could I just check that you're doing this using the Microsoft database
program Access. That's what this newsgroup relates to. If that is right
then could you post the code that you're using now. If not then I'd suggest
trying to find a more appropriate newsgroup for the method you're using.
