Error when loading driver during install

During my install, I need to load some additional drivers for the onboard raid
controller (highpoint 372). When I try to load this driver, it comes back with
the error

Unexpected error (1024) at line 2113 in d:\xpsprtm\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c

Anyone have any ideas why I'm getting this error? I've never had any problems
installing windows onto this machine before.

John, try installing XP using the Regular Primary IDE Channel. After it's
installed you can add the Highpoint Drivers and
move the drive to one of the Raid Connectors.

I've got too many other devices, so all the regular IDE channels are full.
Because of this, I run my two hard drives in a raid 0 config on the raid
channels. This config doesn't allow me to do as you suggest.
