Error When Importing Video Files

Hi,
When trying to import .mpeg files, I get this error:

The file C:\Documents and Settings\MPJanofsky\My Documents\My Videos\Channel
5 3-21_0.-vol-02.mpeg cannot be imported because the codec required to play
the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to
download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and
then try to import the file again.

How can fix this? It appears to happen with all video files.

Because MM works best with dv-avi or wmv. Change the files to one of these
adn you'll then get it to work. Or invest in an mpeg editor, such as Ulead
videostudio or womble.
