Whenever I click on an icon to do something I get an
error that says.."Windows cannot find C: program files
(whatever program I am trying to open)..please make sure
you are typing in the correct name".
So, to get into a program..I have to right click, and
check "run as" to get into it! Or, find some back way
into the program...??
Can anyone help..??

Thanks!

If this happens to shortcuts only:

Click Start | Run | type "regsvr32 /i shell32".

Check if the problem is solved, if not:
Download the .LNK file association fix from:
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm
