Error When Attempting to Compact and Reapir

I posted a question concerning this and found no solution but I have found an article.
Apparently no one was aware of this article when I posted this before:

I still get this error periodically.
Problem is I've been told preventing db corruption is to Compact and Repair, Compact and Repair and Compact and Repair.
Doesn't do me much good if this error continues to happen.

Is there as fix??

Have you had a look at the suggestions for preventing corruption.
There are some things you may be doing that are causing your database to
corrupt more often.

Yes, I haven't heard of it happening with a database that isn't corrupted.

So far it seems I'm following the rules as to preventing db corruption.
Several other articles I have read about this issue says nothing about db
corruption, only a bug in access.
Do a searches the web for "KB article 950812: Compact and repair
might delete your database (Access 2007)" you will find many unhappy returns
for this error. Some even had their db's deleted.

Good thing I back the db up 3 times a day, I'd be screwed.

Not really. Well a compact and repair will fix things and is a good
thing to do monthly or so. But most corruption causes aren't solved
by compacting.
Doesn't do me much good if this error continues to happen.

Is there as fix??

I would amend that:

Most reported "corruption" is not corruption of anything other than
the flags in the header of the files, usually because they didn't
get appropriately written for some reason or another. Very rarely
does a file ever get actually corrupted, and in those cases, the
data are often recoverable (though it depends on the type and extent
of the corruption).

Running compact and repair on a regular basis won't solve the
underlying cause of many corruptions. They're usually caused by
problems outside of Jet such as intermittetntly flaky network
hardware, bad network card drivers, etc, etc.

That said running compact and repair on a regular, say monthly basis,
is a good idea.
