Error : Syntax Error

C

Cap

OS: Win XP SP1
Browser: IE 6 SP2

When I try to go to certain pages on the internet, I get
this error message that pops up and says:

An Error has occurred in the script on this page
Line : 705
Char : 130
Error : Syntax Error
Code : 0
URL : http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=oak

The error pops up on quite a few pages, and it is always
char : 130 that gives the error.

Things I have already tried:
1 - Restarting the computer
2 - Upgraded to XP SP2
3 - Reinstalling IE 6
4 - Restored Internet Option Defaults within IE
5 - Installed Java applet.
6 - Tested the pages with another browser and also on
different computers. Problem is localized to this system
and only IE.

What do you think?

What do you think?

That error message is not for you. It's for the author of the script.
Notify the site if you like or just wait for them to notice the error
and fix it.

If a message window is popping up that means that you have an option
checked somewhere to cause that. For example, you should just
be getting an innocuous Error on page warning in the Status bar.

Start by making sure that the box on that message window is unchecked.
I.e., you do not want to "Always display this message when the page
contains errors"
