error report: image.dll

I had a bug that hijacked my home page and sent it to a
phony microsoft search engine every time i restarted my
computer.
I got rid of the bug but now every time i start my
computer I get an error message dialogue box that
states "Error trouble loading image.dll"

How can I get rid of this annoyance permanantly?
