Janice, I have been trying to solve this problem for a month -- no luck. I have tried virtually everything that has been suggested.

The "image.dll" problem is directly related to spyware on your system.
Unfortunately, because you didn't say what "virtually everything"
means, I have no way of knowing what you've tried. Here are the stock
answers, which definitely work to remove this particular malware:

Remove spyware with Spybot Search & Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org and Ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure
you have the most recent versions of all spyware removal programs and
that you update the programs to get the most recent reference files
before running them. Spybot and Ad-aware are free, so run them both
since they complement each other. It is best to run antivirus and
spyware removal tools in Safe Mode. You may also need to run CWShredder
from http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/index.html . Again, make sure
you have the most recent version. Please read the instructions
carefully. The forums at http://www.spywareinfo.com are a wonderful
reference for all sorts of malware. Also, make sure you've visited
Windows Update and applied all security patches. Make sure you are
running a firewall.

This error message appeared on my PC when I got rid of the spy worm
SYSPY, I also tried everything and nothing helped, there should me a
way to get the .dll patch and install it, any of the computer experts
help us to figure out how to reinstall .dll or to get rid of this
annoying message. The previous message by Malke was too general to
help.

Thanks

Fred

How was my previous message "too general"? I told you to obtain and use
various spyware removal tools, which *will* remove the malware you
mentioned. Again, use the following programs:

Ad-aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot Search & Destroy - www.safer-networking.com
CWShredder and HijackThis - http://aumha.org/freeware.htm

I told you to update Ad-aware and Spybot and run the scans in Safe Mode.
Ad-aware and Spybot have Help files. Here are more links with
information about spyware:

I really don't know what else you want. If there is something you don't
understand about the above information, please post back.

Create a directory on your hardrive to save HijackThis.exe. A directory
like c:\hijackthis. If you do not do this, you will not be able to use the
backup/restore features.

Download HijackThis from:

http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

or here:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/spyware/hijackthis.zip

Save this file into the directory you made previously and then run the
program named hijackthis.exe. When the program opens click on the Config
button, then click on the Misc Tools button, and click on the Check for
update online button. When it completes checking/applying updates press the
back button.

Now click on the Scan button and when it is finished click on the Save Log
button. A Notepad window will open with the contents of this log. Click on
Edit then click on Select all. Then click on Edit and then Click on Copy.

Register an account at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com and post this created
log into the Hijackthis Logs forum at that site. To do this, once you are
registered, create a new post, right click in message area and select paste
to paste the log into the post.

An expert will reply to you after reading this post. DO NOT fix any entries
unless you are absolutely sure you know what you are doing as you may cause
more damage to the system

To see a tutorial on using HijackThis you can click on the link below.
