I just had to do a reinstall of Windows XP over a previous
installation of XP. When installing it around the time it installed
the devices with 34 mins left or so it came up with the following
error msg:

unregmp2.exe
The procedure entry point GETIUMS could not be located in the dynamic
link library MSDART.dll.

I selected okay but this screen staye.d The thing is the installation
did continue fine and the reinstall appears to have worked. What
could be causing this error though? i'm just worried something is
wrong with my reinstall or in the future if I have to reinstall I
coudl have more serious problems.

The error message indicates that there is an outdated DLL file on your
computer (MSDART.DLL). You could try to find a newer (=larger) copy of
the file on the Internet, however, if no further problems arise you
can also leave everything as it is for now.
