error psched / event id 14103

can anybody help me please , ive had the error psched repoted 3 times in the
last week event id says 14103 Qos adapter ( E255

6CBC_BA80_41FD_ACCO_OE29C_62A550 )
the netcard driver failed the query for OID_GEN_LINK_SPEED.
the help & support says this is a serious error but with, no more help ,i
should point out this is my first comp 2yrs , but a fast learner for an old
git.

is this a network card error?
what is make and model #?
Your OS is Win XP Home/Pro?
Have you tried to download XP drivers rom mfg?

hi dennis, the network card is nvidia nforce networking controller
-- my os is xp home
i havn't downloaded any drivers from mfg
i have recently changed my modem conection from usb to ethernet, but i have
not set up networking , i dont appear to be having any visable probs but i am
concerned about this error message , i did have to change my maxtor h/drive
120gb for a 160 gb seagate 2wks ago because of probs ,but everything seems to
have been tickadyboo , thanks for your help dennis . griff from south wales
