Error on Startup

Does anyone know of a fix for the following error?

Error: 0X80004005

I receive this error when I start Windows XP Professional.

Is there a Service Pack out that I can download to fix
this problem.

Do you use any database software? i.e. access, oracle, etc.
this seems to be a database or memory error
trying getting the hardware diagnostic tools from your
PC's manufactorer's web site and run an error check or
scan on your memory
could be a bad memory module
