Error on restarting Windows XP

Whenever I reboot XP at one point I get this error message ( XMNT 2002
program not found continuing to start windows 0 has anyone had this problem
and if so what is remedy.

It can be a linux or a partition magic error message. How to fix, depends
on the cause. A search on google for the error message will bring up many
discussion threads with suggestions.
