Error on opening address book

Hi

I am using Outlook on a standalone machine and syncronising to my PC
PDA/phone

When I open my address book in Outlook I get the error message "Can't
contact LDAP directory server"

Any ideas anyone why it does this? I also get the message when I start to
synch but it goes away and the synch goes through OK.

Do you use and LDAP server for your addresses?
If not, tell Outlook to use the Outlook Address Book instead.
If you don't know how, post your Outlook version. Most of what you'd need to
