error on clean install

When loading a clean install on Win XP I get an error as follows: (Raid config

file\winxp\viaraid.sys caused an unexpected error <18> at line 2108 in d:\xpclient\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.

I am using 2 Seagate 80 Mg drives. This ocurrs when after pressing F6 and loads and askd for a floppy. After loading the floppy and pressing "enter" error comes up. Motherboard P4P800 Asu

sounds like compatibility issues to me, Craig

see if your motherboard is compatible with the XP clean install Hardware compatibility list. :
