Error, Office 2000 SP3

When I open Word I get this error message: Program Error
Winword.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error
log has been created. The error log number is C0000005
(nosymbols)(303E4FBD). Microsoft help says to resolve
this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft
Office 2000. Then I found out that before installing the
latest service pack (Office 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3), I
had to install Office 2000 SR1 which I did. Then I tried
to install SP3. I downloaded it and then double clicked
its program file on the hard drive. I got this message:
This update has already been applied or is included in an
update that has been applied. I'm still getting the same
error message when I try to open Word. Help!

Potential problem is a defective or corrupt normal.dot
file. Delete and a new one will be generated. Also, check
the \MSOffice\Office\Startup folder. It should be empty.
If not, delete the typical Word *.dot files that are found
in this folder.
