Error: Object required

I get the Error: Object Required code 424 whenever I try
to open a popup (good popups) The popup never completely
opens, I can drag it around and make the screen
all "squigly".

Fixes for similar problems in tech help are all for older
versions of IE.

FIX: Object Access Error from WebBrowser Control with "Frames Spoof" Fix.
ERROR 424 "Object Required" This problem occurs only on computers that have
had the Frames Spoof patch installed.

Forget about it! I'll reformat it - thanks to microsoft
again and to Sony (and many other manufacturer that I
know of) for not including Windows CD's and only
providing restore cd's that wipe everything out.
Incidently I've done EVERYTHING relating to my issue per
every Microsoft support and tech report instructions I
could find (I have two computers side by side to follow
the instructions exactly). I refuse to pay money to them
(Microsoft) to fix their glitches, maybe I should just
switch to Netscape and leave it at that! Thanks for
letting me vent-I'm sure I'm not alone!
