Error msg running sysprep 2.0. Your Grace period limit has been reached

I am trying to use sysprep prior to ghosting new machines
that I have received. I had run sysprep 2.0 on this XP
machine and then I realized I wanted to make a change to
the image. I brought the machine back up and then ran
sysprep again. Now I get an error message when i try and
run sysprep. "Your Grace period limit has been reached
and will not be reset" What does this mean?

Rob,

You can only run Sysprep a certain amount of times on a PC
till it craps out on you. I think it is 7x's or quite
possible 3x's. After you hit the limit your out of luck
and have to start over again from square one.
One thing that I do is create an image before running
Sysprep. Get the PC how I want image it, then burn it,
then load/run Sysprep, burn it. At least that way I have
a "pre-SysPrep" image in case I need to go back. I have
also found that when you run SysPrep on a PC that already
had SysPrep runned it comes up very slow for the first 10-
15 minutes. I guess it must be "refreshen" its settings
but have not found anything to verify that.
