When I check my e-mail in Outlook 2000, I receive this message..."Unable to
connect to the server. (Account: ‘mail.bellsouth.net’, POP3 Server:
‘mail.bellsouth.net’, Error Number: 0x800ccc0e)." I have Outlook Express on
the computer with exact same internet settings and it works perfectly. Have
tried reloading Outlook, redoing connections, everything that I can think of.
Have yet to find a solution. Please Help!!!!!!

Try importing the account settings from OE. Make sure you're properly
authenticating to the outgoing server.

That error code means that Outlook was unable to connect to the server.
Make sure you've entered the proper address and port for the server. If
that doesn't work, try turning off your firewall to see if that might be
blocking Outlook's attempt to connect.
