error messages

I have encountered an error message "winupd.dll" with a
second message "Missing Main_2" I have yet to come
across something on Microsofts site. I am reasonably sure
that the "winupd.dll" has something to do with a windows
update, but unsure what and how to correct it. As for
the "Missing Main_2" I am clueless. I hope there is some
help out there. Thanks

It is conceivable that software has been installed on your PC without your
knowledge. If possible, install and run one or both of these utilities,
which will detect that software, and give you the option to vanquish it...
