Two error mesages appear when I go to System Tools, Event Viewer, System.
The description for Event 7026 reads, "Drivers faied to load." Then it lists
kl1, klif, klmc.
I followed the link to a help and it said, "The driver might not be in the
expected location. Do all of the following:
Verify that the drivers are configured correctly.
Verify that the computer is running the most current version of the drivers.
I wonder how to determine what these drivers are for?
Error ID 7000, Description "The Kaspesky Anti-Virus service failed to start.
The system can not find the path specified."
Following the link to help I ended up withthe following instruction.
" On a Local Computer.If the user is on a stand-alone Windows XP-based
computer, follow these steps:
1. Log on to the computer as administrator or as a member of the
Administrators group.
2. Start the Local Computer Policy snap-in.
3. Expand Local Computer Policy, expand Computer Configuration, expand
Windows Settings, and then expand Security Settings.
4. Expand Local Policies, and then click User Rights Assignment.
5. In the right pane, right-click Log on as a service, and then click
Properties.
6. Click Add User or Group, add the user that you want to the policy, and
then click OK twice.
7. Close the Local Computer Policy snap-in.
Ok, I add myself to the policy, now what. I don't have any idea what caused
the error tooccur. There does semm to be any relationship between the
description on the error message and the fix. Can you give me explination
of what is going on.
